About My Work

Benefits
Horses like humans experience a wide array of emotions and traumas. Energy healing helps them heal past traumas and adjust to new situations and changes. Massage therapy will help in easing physical and psychological stress. Massage given at regular intervals will strengthen your horse’s sense of body awareness helping to prevent future muscle injuries by maintaining free movement, and improving the over-all physical and emotional health of your horse.

Therapies
I utilize energy therapies: Reiki, Theta Healing, Acupressure, and Chakra balancing to promote well being. Horses naturally use their bodies to know the world. These therapies strengthen and balance your horse’s connection to themselves and the world around them. I use massage techniques in deep tissue, craniosacral, and relaxation massage .
Massage Therapy is not a diagnostic science or a substitute for Veterinarian care. It is used to enhance performance and over all balance by increasing circulation, reducing muscle spasms, relieving tension, enhancing muscle tone, promoting healing, increasing range of motion and providing a sense of connection between body and spirit.

APPOINTMENTS
Call for a free consultation at your stable. This consultation includes a free 5-10 minute screening of your horse so that we can determine if my services would be of benefit. I am located in Newbury but do travel to provide this service.

Why Horses Need Energy Work and Massage

I have spent my life working on my path and my healing journey. I have always felt a strong connection to animals in my life. I have not always understood them or treated them fairly, yet I have always felt that there was a strong presence there that I did not fully understand. When I started my journey as a healing facilitator I was drawn to work on animals especially horses. I have had many profound dreams that have connected me with horses and I realized that they had a voice and wished to be heard. As I work daily to listen to horses and feel their energy and vibration, I have been amazed at the story they tell. There is a great force in the universe that guides each horse that keeps them connected and provides them with a sense of place and purpose. They feel safe through that connection; knowing that they are not alone. Their spirit, breath and souls are joined to a universal collective of horse knowledge. I have noticed during a healing sessions that stable mates lean over their stalls, their energy reaching out to the horse being healed. I have been amazed and in awe as I have been working with a horse and have felt flashes and glimpses of this connection. For a horse that has forgotten or lost that connection their life can be sad and confusing. There is an emptiness that they can not fill. There is a longing that they can not satiate or understand. It is as if they are adrift in a strange world looking and longing for family, for connection. Healing touch can aide a horse in re-finding his connection by opening and balancing his energy paths.

Additionally providing touch through healing work is an excellent what to bridge the gap between the horse’s sense of the world and the human’s sense of the world. A horse owner who provides healing touch or participates while the horse gets healing touch by being present and watching signals from the horse further bridges the gap between our worlds. Look into your horse’s eye and allow yourself to really see him looking back at you. Really feel his soul as it reaches out to your heart. What is your horse telling you? What do you want to tell your horse? Let your feelings become pictures and words that you send to your horse and let your heart be open to what is sent back. Touch your horse with the intent of healing. Allow yourself to be healed in return.
